Katherine is a science and history nerd turned  freelance illustrator and writer. She particularly loves illustrating educational science material, and historical figures from the 17th and 18th century, and folklore and traditional songs of Great Britain and Ireland. 

 

Katherine’s love for storytelling extends to having spent time as a ghostwriter for businesses, writing her own fiction stories, and writing health articles for print publications like The Old Schoolhouse Magazine and Horse Illustrated.

Katherine has spent an enormous amount of time reading picture books to her children, as they are an integral part of her children's homeschool education. 

 

So far she has checked out an average of  500 books per year from the library.
